I’m loving my new desktop.
Following an article from Lifehacker, I customized my desktop to emulate a Windows Phone 7-style HUD. You can select whatever panels you want displayed on your desktop.
I chose (from upper-left to bottom-right):

slideshow
weather
moon phase
date/calendar
unread emails
link to my folders
world clock
program launcher
skin-color chooser
internet launcher
memory usage
office program launcher
itunes controller
and power meter

But they have many other panels and layouts that you can view here.
Best of all, it’s free!

  • Hindsight is always 1080p.

  • One #hashtag does not a trending topic make.

  • Too many hosts spoil the podcast.

  • That’s a hard act to unfollow.

  • 140 characters to the wise is sufficient.

  • The bandwidth is always greener on the other side of the firewall.

  • Email, Twitter, and Facebook are three best friends and three worst enemies.

  • People who live in glass houses shouldn’t check their address on Google Street View.

  • A fool and his passwords are soon parted.

  • He’s 10 bits short of a byte.

Welcome
Thanks for visiting my site.

This blog acts as a place to collect the interesting things I find around the internet on a daily basis.

Occassionally, I'll write an original post inspired by a class discussion, news article, or just my own random thoughts.

But most posts will be about marketing, advertising, media, or technology.

Of course, there's more to life than business. I also like posts about pop culture, television, books, magazines, movies, food, and NYC.

Also, these views are my own and do not reflect the views of my employer or my clients.

You can follow my rss feed here. Then email me here.

Thanks!
