Something weird happened today. After my 2-3:15 class, I walked out onto the Tisch Hall plaza (NYU’s version of a “quad” where students congregate). Anyway, it took a second or two before I noticed, but the students that were out on the plaza were… strange. Let me explain: 1) Many of them I didn’t recognize. 2) They were standing alone and distant from each other. And 3) They weren’t talking, just standing awkwardly.
To write it here, doesn’t fully capture how strange it looked. I thought it was a flash mob that was going to do an ImprovEverywhere-kind of performance. But after I had left to grab my lunch, everything was back to normal and there was no big applause or explanation of what it was.
To say the least, I’m confused and want answers.

Welcome
Thanks for visiting my site.

This blog acts as a place to collect the interesting things I find around the internet on a daily basis.

Occassionally, I'll write an original post inspired by a class discussion, news article, or just my own random thoughts.

But most posts will be about marketing, advertising, media, or technology.

Of course, there's more to life than business. I also like posts about pop culture, television, books, magazines, movies, food, and NYC.

Also, these views are my own and do not reflect the views of my employer or my clients.

You can follow my rss feed here. Then email me here.

Thanks!
